inverclydenow.com/blogs/tom-stevensons-photo-blog/7233-tom-stevensons-blog-little-new-under-the-sunFor years my parents kept this pile of pish on a wall in our entrance hall. I was encouraged to learn from it. What utter, utter shite, I have given 30 odd years to the community and I owe it bugger all. As to deriving great benefit...don't make me laugh. What little innocents they were in those days. Little did they know that the three towns would merge and create a huge feeding trough for many of our dear councillors and their slimy acolytes. My late father in a fit of uncharacteristic rage, flung the damn thing in the bin the day Harry Mulholland was made Provost. Obviously he was too keen on dear old, 'Harry Bun'! My mother later admitted that she never wanted it on the wall in the first place but she also despised old Harry and declared that his former employers made stale cakes. Actually, Harry was always very nice to me and seemed to listen whenever we met and I bent his ear.......as to his fiscal probity....well that's another matter!

Something of a theme, that. What do we all feel about the new Provost? Hehehhe

Actually, I try not to think of the wee Moron. Years ago, the Provost was chosen as someone who could best represent the people of the town so I suppose Moron is just about right for today
