There seems to be a great disparity between where and when these wardens are effective. I am reliably informed by Jock and Linda that they have had a good experience of them but others declare them to be useless. We mustn't forget however that the police have a statutory obligation to protect the public from this kind of behaviour. The wardens only have their wee red polo shirts!

I've been lurking on here for a while guys, really like that there's a place for criticism in Inverclyde. Speaking of the wardens, have any of you seen this film that was doing the rounds a few years ago? Eyes on the Street vimeo.com/13908973

Yeah it's great.
A friend of mine was involved in making it and he said that the council were very displeased about it. Apparently Duncan Mcneil was asking questions as to "why it was allowed to be made" . Mental.

The area around the Grieve Road shops still scares me. Fortunately, I don't do housecalls any more. I can could ask the same question about Dunky himself!

The wardens only have their wee red polo shirts! as i have said in previous posts we have had great experience with the wardens compared to the police who DONT TURN UP even on a 999 call....the wardens due to one of those calls have turned up and even they dial 999 and the police dont show up.... they cant do anything...they have no power but they are the eyes and ears for the public and they will go to court on your behalf as long as they see what is going on.........they have been to court on numerous occasions instead of the person that has reported the incident cause they were the witnesses

Here, I'll say it, "the police are worthless".
