I actually feel sorry for George White because he tried to do his best but he was tainted by his connections to the LibDems (he is also Alan Blair's brother-in-law), as he says, he might come back again in five years.
As predicted, Charlie McCallum is out on his arse and that's no bad thing. When he was done for benefit fraud he should have resigned but no, he clung on telling everyone he met that he, "just forgot". Mind you, if he had been put up as a Labour candidate, he'd have won because the average Labour voter would vote for a table lamp. There will no doubt be a wee lucrative group up at the Craigend Resource Centre where Charlie can apply his, 'talents'.
