Oh and how about taking a look at the charges you make for waste uplifts. Try being a bit reasonable and try and teach your staff some common courtesy and maybe then you wouldn't have so much fly tipping. "Our Environmental Task Force", don't make me laugh, the best task force force you could set up is one where you and your pocket-lining pals empty their desks. Have you got a fall back plan Moron, what will you do when you get dumped? I'm sure the Community Warden Service has a spare rid jumper.

fly tipping dont make me laugh........when i was getting rid of a livingroom unit it had a bit of glass in it.....i phoned the council for an uplift and do you know what i was told....."they couldnt uplift my unit cause of the bit of glass.....why dont i just fly tip it" talk about gubsmacked....i couldnt believe what i heard.....i gave her what for...managed to put my bit and i mean bit of glass in my bin and got the unit uplifted.....i was so bloody angry

Both sides have been cranking the cost of refuse uplifts over the years and yes, Alan Blair did a big thing about it a few years ago but it's this current mob who have been the worst culprits. They have used these charges as, 'stealth taxes'. What I cannot understand is, if we pay for these services in our taxes, why do we have to pay again?  ?? What next, a leccie bill for the street light outside your house? |

just like to add i am not a lover or follower of the BNP, sometimes we need to have cases highlighted that are hidden or put to the back of the books.

But of course we must remember that the BNP and their likes are seriously odd themselves. In 2012, children are seen as commodities. From, 'single parents' in sink estates who breed for cash to the chattering middle classes who have kids as tokens, we have lost our way. Children should only be conceived because you WANT a child and you want to watch them grow into adulthood, not for dinner party chatter or vast benefits.

I totally agree, but there should be more safe havens for young children and school nurses should be a regular feature.
