TOP level talks are to be held in a bid to create jobs and breath new life into
Inverclyde. Scottish Executive enterprise minister Wendy Alexander is coming to Greenock on Monday for a crucial meeting. She has been invited by Greenock and Inverclyde MSP, Duncan McNeil, who said the discussions would focus on creating jobs along the A8 corridor and kick-starting the stalled Gourock development.

I'm very surprised the Tele printed that, could it be that changes are happening already? Wouldn't it be a real hoot if the Tele was forced to change its political stance by the new owners just in time for the election?

But the "new" owners are just the old management team.

I suppose but the political slant might have come from the top..well, here's hoping. Poor Baxter would have to pack it in.
