inverclydenow.com/blogs/election-2012/6935-election-2012-lib-dems-want-tide-to-turn-for-ferry-serviceOh? These snivelling bastards said nothing last year when the service ended and I'm not going to listen to the LieDems about Calmac. Under their stewardship at Holyrood, Calmac was forced to spend millions on a tender that was cancelled during the process. The only Liberal who had anything to say was George White. I sailed on one of the last crossings to Dunoon last year and I was stunned at the lack of passengers on the boat. The car deck had only two cars and a van. The old phrase, 'use it or lose it' comes to mind. I feel sorry for the poor bastards who have to travel on foot on these two, "very reliable" tubs. For the last few months, any time I have passed along Eldon Street, both of these things have been tied up at the pier but then perhaps it was the tying up that was reliable. To all the ones who heeped praise on Festering Ferries, just you wait until the McCorleones take over (watch this space!). Don't say you weren't warned.
