unfortunately the community wardens are again worthless - they have no power to do anything whatsoever, you might as well send up a goldfish |

I know that Jocky and Linda have had a good experience of the Wardens but they look more than a touch sleazy to me. We still have one who drives up Finnart Street at lunchtime with a fag in his hand. When I'm down Wemyss Bay/Inverkip area on my rounds I always see them hanging about the lavs at Inverkip. I wonder how much they cost to run?  ? |

some folks have had bad experiences with the wardens but i think it depends who you have on the rounds....we have the same faces all the time were we live and they are quick to respond to our calls even at the club....
yea they dont have powers but we have seen first hand the action they have taken and without any body armour to protect them.....i trust the wardens quicker than i would trust the police....anytime we have had to phone both, the wardens were always on the doorstep within minutes compared to the police on a 999 call that took over an hour

The whole idea of the wardens are a fares they are on what say about £17k a year have 5 vans to run complete waste of time and money if they have no powers why not use the money on people that have powers like more police and dog wardens and terrific wardens no just get big fat tam out in his wee van what a f**d

have to admit it is time for the wardens and most police to join the fatbouys club or get busted and thrown out of a job.
tiddles you are right about the mobility cars, and most of the grandkids don't give a piss about their grandparents or relatives, its time they checked out the drivers

the idea behind the wardens isnt too go into a fight ect but to be in a place were they can view what is going on and in turn they become professional witnesses rather than you going to court
