BBC Scotland are Labour to the bone and they have been blatantly anti-SNP for as long as I can remember..and that goes back MANY years. I used to have great respect for Brian Taylor and I like his colourful language but....he's a hack, a biased hack and he does nothing for democracy.
Despite the best efforts of the BBC and STV, the SNP won a splendid victory last year and in my opinion, they will do so again in the referendum. People are sick listening to wee Rosa/Jimmy Krankie and her pals spewing out nothing but anti-SNP bile, they have learned nothing from last year's meltdown. It just simply doesn't occur to them that negative campaigning turns people off particularly if you talk shite.
I actually want a two question referendum and here's why. Many Scots, including my own friends still balk at a total separation from Mother England but they still want Scotland to have a full say over it's own destiny. So whilst they might not want to go the extra mile, they'd be happy to go for Plan B. The Unionists are up in arms against this of course because they know that such a question almost GUARANTEES a split from Westminster. So what then? How dare the Unionists deny us the right to decide on Plan A or B? If the people of Scotland vote for full independence, they should have it and equally if they vote for, 'devo-max' they should have that. That is democracy and it should be driven home to Messrs Cameron and Clegg who were NOT democratically elected to anything.
I passionately believe in Independence, I think it is the ONLY way forward for us and we have to take this chance for it lest it never be raised again in my lifetime. I went to war for the United Kingdom and I saw people die horribly or end up maimed for the rest of their lives. I see service men and women arrive from Afghanistan and other Blairist playgrounds whose lives are ruined and I also see them come home to nothing but the dole and Employment and Support Allowance Assessment. God help the poor wee Scottish lads and lassies, they have given their all and now they get told to shut up, Mother England knows best.
The sooner we have an SBC ie., The Scottish Broadcasting Corporation the better. Messrs Taylor, Campbell and Neill can sod off to MediaCity to report on the latest Morris Dancing contest in Hampshire.
