The Scottish Housing Regulator today published regulation plans for 51 RSLs. The Regulator has categorised 1 RSL as ‘high’ and 50 as ‘medium’ engagement.

The Scottish Housing Regulator assesses annually the risk each landlord presents to the interests of tenants and other service users.

Not good reading for River Clyde Homes (as expected) or Cloch Housing Association (thought they were OK) tenants and guess which Housing Association is the only one in Scotland that the Regulator has 'High' concerns over.

I'm not surprised. The Housing Associations were meant to bring accountability and empowerment to tenants. As far as I can see, they have been taken over by pernicious little cliques hell bent on preserving their own power bases. The tenants don't seem to figure at all in the scheme of things. I think we need to take another look at the system because it doesn't work.
