ONE of Inverclyde's most iconic buildings is set for a major refurbishment that will open it up for commercial and public use.
here we go again.....is it going to become offices and pound shops, oh we might even get a card shop...why not a museum showing greenock as it once was

take it brick by brick, plenty of money for old building today, a museum would be too easy linda

I know and welcome that they are doing up the watt museum but why o why o why did they not just move all the archives to the custom house it’s a no brainer (so that’s why it didn’t happen) also with all the council office’s getting mixed about why not move the registry office to it it would be lovely
(looks for the hitting head off wall smilies)

moon that would have been a lovely idea, their stairway alone is lovely and could you imagine the pictures you would get inside and out.....its a lovely building

it would make a beautiful registry office just think of the wedding pictures you could get coming down that staircase.....its really nice..........wonder what they are going to do with that carpet???
