linda would you believe the police giving evidence, now personally I would want the gallows for the police who tell lies and life for those who cry rape knowing it is not true. Then again , I would never want to be a judge. Remember once I was called for jury service, young guy getting done for stealing money out of a community hall where he worked and I knew who ran the hall and believe me they said over a thousand pounds was stolen, I would have said the guy stole maybe 200 the rest went into the others pockets and, they were witnesses against the guy. Thank god my brother was getting called up as a witness and I got leave............justice, very seldom is right, a judge has only got the evidence in front of him and a concience he / she has to live with...............no too heavy a burden for me to carry and besides I will always remember Timothy Evens en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_Evansen.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_miscarriage_of_justice_cases#United_Kingdomenough to frighten the life out of you. |
