Could they not have found a Scottish person to do this? And, how much did he charge? ?? I agree about him being a prat, I could call him worse names, MUCH worse.

I have absolutely no doubt that this building will leak like a sieve. Who in their right minds would dream of having a flat roofed building right on the waterfront in the West of Scotland? I can't wait to see the pics of buckets and tarpaulins all over the auditorium. The police station has leaked since the day it was built.

I love his work and most genius's are prats, maybe it is because their minds are always elsewhere. His genius is not in "composing" but in taking obscure ancient classical works and dressing them up/modernising/subtly changing them and then passing them off as his own

You got that right!!!! John Williams is the same, he lifted the battle music in Star Wars straight from Sir William Walton's, 'War in the Air".

The guy who wrote/composed "For these are my mountains" sued Vangelis for plagiarism , he lifted Chariots of Fire Theme - unfortunately he lost - listen to both, they are virtually identical? Try and not listen to the Kenneth McKellar/Alexander Brothers versions - the torture level wouldn't be worth it

I suppose when the 80s passed and the interest in synth music, he wasn't much wanted. Every time I hear synth stuff I keep thinking Sheena Easton is going to burst into..well whatever she passed off as song.

Ah once sat on a plane to Glasgow behind her and her entourage, then fell in behind them on the way to get luggage, she was on her way to Scottish Baftas to pick up her award for Mrs Brown Anyways , talk about stuck-up, her daughter, I think, was some sloan ranger, princess Di clone in a tweed suit wae more marbles in her gub than queen betty -she disparaged everything in the 5 minute walk to the luggage reclaim

Once in Glasgow going to a dance competition with my daughter and a few mates, when my daughter and her friend both aged about 10 and 12 at the time decided that they wanted a bottle of juice , so off they went and seemed to be taking ages, so off i go and look for them and there they are waiting in the que when this guy just walks right up to the till to be served in front of them. Well ! off I go and tells this guy how does he expect children to learn manners when he had the manners of the ignorant. I pays for the childrens juice and marches out head in the air and my mates are falling about laughing and, proceed to tell me that I had just put Cliff Richard in his place, Oh! I said and here I was thinking it was Harry Webb.
