inverclydenow.com/news/local/6495-flats-plan-for-old-bingo-hallIt's sad of course because I remember being in the old Plaza as a wee boy and it was a nice building but these days it is nothing more than an eyesore and hardly the sort of thing that would attract potential businesses to put down roots here. If the plans for these flats are acceptable and hopefully pay something of a homage to the Art Deco style of the Plaza then the application would get my support. I would like more details as to who the developer is.

The developer is Raj - he owns about 200 houses in Port Glasgow - he's the guy who was in the Tele with DAvy Smith the other landlord in Clune Park area

Then you'll forgive me if I say that I hope that the application fails.

If the application is successful I don’t know if the flats will be that popular overlooking the back door of Tesco with all the delivery’s is that not why all the flats in the old church building are up for sale too

Wouldn't want to be one of the people who buys one of the flats off him because what he can't sell he will fill them up with people who get their rent paid for them, then we will have another Robert street area.

to be honest mum, he wouldnt care who got those flats....him and the rest of his cronies caused the problems with robert street by allowing the houses to go into disrepair
