Aha - at last - a shop in Inverclyde that I will probably spend money in, even if it is only a bag of wood-based cat litter every few months.

Remember going to the one in Renfrew not long after it opened to get a wee gold fish and they asked me everything about getting one have you got a tank when did you clean the water do you have a filter long story cause it was just going in to a wee bole with no filter or that they wouldn’t sell me it “as it wasn’t good for the fishes wellbeing” I asked if the 5 dead ones flouting in the tank was good for wellbeing

I hate the smell of the places and it depresses me to see the poor wee animals in cages being abused by rotten weans.

some years ago when our lab was a a lot younger, just a big pup, Mrs Sam took him up to the one that used to be in Renfrew. They don't mind you taking dugs in to the shop - she arrived back at the house having spent twenty odd quid in the place.
She said that she let the dug pick his own toys and stuff from the shelves and that was what he picked and she didn't want to disappoint him as his wee face was a picture - FFS - needless to say Mrs S now only goes to such shops in my company and not the dugs
