There is a company or organisation somewhere that merrily churns out meaningless, and bogus statistics.
The Brad Pitt movie supposedly brought £20 million, really? Not for the people of Glasgow it didn't, all they got were traffic problems.
Fine, the council found a use for the old Academy building but don't try to spin it into the equivalent of Toyota coming to town.

oh aye, nothing to do with us..... in anything to do with inverclyde they always show the place in its worst light...is there a better light?  ? on tv they always portray a scots as a drunk or a wife beater |

Linda do you never notice that they always show redheads as scots, mental cases, ladies of the night or working in bars, I shall be watching the telly and no doubt everyone will be waiting to see how much the council were paid, or will it be off the books.

yea horn always noticed that.....we also chase haggis,s and wear kilts all the time....the scots like cheap wine and are always out causing trouble....
it really annoys me when there are programmes on and there is someone portraying a scots...they are always portrayed the same...trouble makers....
yes we do get the numpties like any place but that is part of life....
i am soooooooooooooooooooo looking forward to see how they do it this time...
