I have been told that scottish enterprise paid the insurance for 2 hours as the boat was taken from Lamonts into the East india harbour where, they opened up gaps in her sides so that she remained in one place incase water came in and so as not to float her the water filled the hull and then flowed out.
I can remember clearly my dad taking pics of this boat when she was in Cardwell bay and it was patched up in places with hardboard.
What a waste of money and time.
