Kapasi is a certified eejit. He was VERY into the, 'fundholding practice' philosophy and as to Murph the Smurf....the sooner he collects his pay off and buggers off the better. I wonder if he'd care to tell us how much his early retirement is costing us?  ?? |

I was in Kapasi's practice under Michael when he left, I went with him. Glad I left when I did, because that Clown Balmer eventually took over

Then he started the practice doon the fund holding route, I listened to him try and justify it, whit an erse. FFS to try and run a practice as if patients were products to be charged for wiz completely mental, but there was good money in it for the likes of him. There were quite a few of them into the fundholding shit and I can tell you, one or two get their greedy, dirty little fingers burnt. There were dissenters in our practice but cooler, more patient focused practitioners won the day.
One practice and I won't name them for obvious reasons, had a practice manageress who got herself all dolled up to the nines with the power dressing. She thought she'd hit the big time overnight and then, 1997 came and her dreams of empire faded.
Wee Kapasi and Walter Hannay were big promoters of it and nearly drove us all round the bend trying to sell it to us.
If a patient comes to me with an illness and the appropriate drugs are available on the NHS, I prescribe them. I don't give a damn who writes threatening letters and makes nasty comments, I'll not be stopped.

the last practise i went too before micheal was fund holding....i was on injections for migraines which worked and one day i put in for another prescription i was told i couldnt get them....i
when i changed over to micheal, i asked him for them thinking that i was going to get the same reaction, to my surprise he gave me a prescription without moaning about the cost.....oh i love that man..

sam i always say to jock that its worth while being ill just to go and see him, he makes you feel better without any pills or potions....that is the way a doctor should be...

Meg Kapasi asked me to redo some of her daughters wedding pictures and take some stills from the video. In the end I redid the video soundtrack and gave her a rather nice photo slideshow with music. As well as the still pictures.
