From the Tele:
TWO hotels could be stripped of their licences after complaints from police over a catalogue of incidents.
One of these appears to be the Port and Harbour if the Tele's picture is an indication. Might I suggest that readers take a look at the entries for this establishment on Tripadvisor. It is an eye-opener. How many times have these people to lose their licence before a serious investigation begins?

Both these hotels are owned by the same guy The Wemyss Bay one gets raided by UK Border Agency on a regular basis. The Wemys Bay Hotel is er.....how can I put it........SHITE! It's boggin, dank and minging inside, with people drinking in the bar you wouldn't cross the street to pish, if they were on fire. Yes, and when the authorities clamp down on them, they claim it's one of their cousins or whatever who owns the place. The result of which is that they same people open another place or simply change the name on the existing one.
Didn't they have the Firth Hotel at one time?

I gather there is a company that will, for a fee, create positive reviews for your business on Tripadvisor. I usually seek out the bad ones and go from there.

Or you can do it yourself by creating multiple accounts with different e-mail addresses that is why I don't usally bother with trip advisor. |
