Michael Portillo is coming to speak in Greenock at the chamber of commerce 200th annual dinner...

Curiously enough, the total cost for this "5 course dinner" is £65+VAT which means that it will be a total of £78 per setting - an amount that is greater than the amount given to single people over 25 on jobseekers allowance for a whole fecking week!!! A five course dinner in an area where a lot of people are continuing to rely on the local foodbank for basic meals and stuff....
I wonder how much Portillo is picking up for his contribution...yep that right he will be getting paid for talking pish so not much different from when he was an MP...
