Why didn't he take a quick trip up to Glasgow Airport where there are dozens of car hire firms? I'm sure one of the tartan clad mob would have pointed him in the right direction. Did he not think to make arrangements before he came? In any case, I thought you only get a few hours to wander about before you are stuffed back on board.
