www.greenocktelegraph.co.uk/news/greenock/articles/2013/06/19/461353-greenock-firm-helps-little-holly/A hundred pounds.....a hundred pounds? ?? Such generosity! This kind of advert, for such it is, would have cost them much more if they had taken out a ad in the Tele. Wee old ladies collect more in their tins outside Tesco and poor wee Holly and her family have been made to pose for a crap photo. Why didn't you make it a thousand pounds, surely a 'finance company' could have worked out a nice tax deal on this? ? Maybe a wee personal loan or a sub-prime mortgage? What next Tele, Holly 'photographed' being dangled out of a window because wee Mrs McTurd has donated 2/6d? And how much did the Tele contribute? Did you, 'give till it hurts'?

I have to add that the Jackson School of dance held a day and made over £600 for her and that was all done by her friends in the dance class.

Yes, quiet fundraising is what it's all about, not advertising for some glorified insurance broker (I wanted to call them something else but I baulked at the last moment). Well done to your wee dancers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes well I'm not TOTALLY negative and I quite often applaud real fundraising projects rather than the blatant cheap advertising we see in this case and the constant stream of morons parading on the Esplanade to be photographed badly, dressed in stupid costumes. I would also like to think that this wee soul's condition would receive the appropriate care but as far as I can tell, this treatment has yet to be properly assessed and approved. However, if it works....it should be used especially for a wee babe.
