www.inverclydenow.com/today/9541-oak-mall-on-crest-of-cruise-ship-waveHow do you know this? Do you have, 'cruise-ship passenger detecting' turnstiles at the doors? Are sales up in the shops? Nope, I doubt that very much. Primark might see a slight increase from sales to Filipino crew members but it beggars belief that people who have paid thousands of dollars to cruise on the QM2 might even consider popping into one of your low-life pound shops. I don't know who you are trying hardest to convince here, yourself or the rest of us but either way, you are delusional. You preside over a crime-ridden, 10th rate shopping centre with all the allure of a Baghdad market. In fact, far from heaping self praise on yourself, you should hang your head in shame for actually running this retail rat run. YOU STUPID WOMAN

How many of these "shoppers" are actually folk using the boak mall as a thoroughfare to get to from west blackball to cathcart street or vice-versa
It's about as accurate as rentboy mckenzie saying he didn't know who his landlord was

Exactly, most people use it as a sheltered route to Tesco.

How I wish that the mall would collapse one night when we are all in bed and we wake up to see real light and fresh air..........................we can all dream

I agree Horn, the original street should have been kept with the buildings refurbished behind the façades and turned into pedestrian only. It is utterly charmless and badly built. Still, its ghastliness is a perfect refection of Greenock. Ms Jephcote should be ashamed to even tell people she runs it, I have to wonder if she has ever actually seen a real shopping mall. Last Christmas she told us that, "footfall" was, "significantly up on last year" and what did we find in the New Year? Shops in the Maul saw their sales down. She should start by getting rid of the screaming junkies and the thieves, get some roof openings so that the whole place isn't as hot as Riyadh and make sure that there are no,'wolves' hanging about the cash machines ready to pounce. I pity people who have no car and have to shop there, they are not so much shoppers as victims. I am also willing to bet that the Jephcote does her shopping elsewhere or is she as daft as she sounds? www.greenocktelegraph.co.uk/news/greenock/articles/2013/05/18/457825-strictly-host-claudia-honours-shopping-mall/#"Coveted Award" Who the hell covets it? My mother often says, "self praise is no honour" and she'd be right with this load of shit. It just happened to be The Boak's turn. I had to laugh at that old boiler, Winkleman, she looks as though she was, 'tired and emotional'. She is a complete waste of space that someone in the BBC is pushing...why is that that? The Jephcote looks exactly as I expected, a fluffy airhead.

Tidds, if you wish anyone to follow your idea's, can you make it one idea at a time as it is too much information for for Jephcote & Co to take in all at once. I did note that you missed the money lenders, there are plenty of them getting rich on the poor, a wee bit like Councillors. I just hate the Mall and the negativity you feel in it.

Yes, you're right Horn, the Jephcote does seem to have limited multi tasking skills.
