What a sarcastic plank you are McCabe, that snide piece of gunge will come back to haunt you but then, you'll be hoping to replace Dunky. I wouldn't bank on that one either.
Be positive and maybe then people will listen, and bear in mind, your core voters are all in their 70s and might not be around to be milked. Young people from 16 to 30 see through you.
Congratulations to Councillor Chris McEleny on his appointment as Leader of Inverclyde Council's SNP Group in succession to Councillor Keith Brooks.
Chris will be the fifth SNP Leader I will have faced across the Council Chamber since I was first appointed Council Leader in May 2007. The others are Keith Brooks (twice), Innes Nelson and Jim MacLeod. I'm sure that Jim Grieve and Math Campbell-Sturgess will get their turn at some point.
