When did we stop saying that people died? Thatcher didn't pass, pass on, pass over or pass wind, although she might have done at the end.
I have noticed the BBC has started to use that phrase too, it is a form of denial and is not healthy. The only absolute inevitability in this life is that everyone DIES and this has to be accepted however painful it might be.
Anyway Donkey, Thatcher is DEAD and thank God for it, it's just a pity she left it thrity odd years to late. For someone who purports to be or at least once purported to be a Socialist, your honeyed words are betrayal of the people you represent.
