www.greenocktelegraph.co.uk/news/greenock/articles/2013/01/26/444813-mp-takes-action-on-heating-allowances-/Hmm, would these, "many years" include the ones that his own shower of rats were in power? I'm sure they're quaking in their Loakes shoes at the prospect of being handbagged by Undertaker. And just who installed this system in the first place? A spokeswoman for the DWP told the Tele there was no computer system error involved. She said: "It's important we hold the full address if someone thinks the payment they received is wrong. I agree with Undertaker on that one. That cow needs a kicking. "Now then Mrs McPensioner, we're not paying your pension this week because you failed to tell us the colour of your knickers". However, McKenzie needs to stop grandstanding for the benefit of his deluded voters and start doing something for the area. "The working class can kiss may arse, I've got the PPS's job at last".

Yes indeed sammy, I'm very keen on Loakes and Grensons but they are becoming harder to come by. I used to get mine in Frasers but I hear they don't stock them now.

Best place to get them is Slaters, they have them at a very good price too. Jenners still stock them I would love some Church brogues but totally mental pricing but should in theory outlive me

I haven't been in Slater's for years, there was an old guy who never lost an opportunity to feel one up when taking measurements but he'll be dead by now I suppose coz he has to have been in his 60s then and that was 30 years ago at least. Apparently that's the establishment the Undertaker graces with his custom.

I only buy shoes from them, I did, years ago buy a suit or two from them but gave up as I always felt ( no pun intended ) as if I was buying the suit they had chosen and not me. I 'll need to go back soon as I need a new pair, they are cheap enough were it is just slightly more expensive than getting them re-soled and heeled properly. Never mind the fact that inverclyde does not have a proper cobblers any more. Years ago I was the IT guy at Dalziel steelworks, in motherwell, one of the office workers was as camp as a row of tents, he worked in Slaters Saturday n Sunday too - another reason I stopped buying suits there

I have always been unsure as to what the phrase, "To what side does sir dress" means. That old guy did tend to investigate matters himself. A friend of mine grabbed him by the throat whereas I just grabbed his hand and pushed it away. If he had done that to a woman there would have been hell to pay.
I know what you mean about them choosing the, 'right' garments for you. One time they tried to foist a dark green pin-striped pile of shite on me but I told them to sling it in favour of my regular dark blue business suit.
