I am totally gobsmacked that the local newspaper hasn't ran a story on this. We all know that they are mere lapdogs to the Labour Party but when the local MP finds himself at the heart of an expenses scandal, surely even they would make some comment.

You can bet that if this involved a member of the SNP, the front page would have been filled with bile.

McKenzie's assertion that he did not know that this woman was his landlord is bizarre but then the Undertaker being the Undertaker, such acts of gross stupidity is to be expected.

Something definitely fishy here. How can you buy a flat for £300k and your mortgage is only £500 a month? Mines a 3rd of that and costs £700! And how do these MPs get away with paying their spouse £42k to do a bit of research. I'm disgusted.

that would depend on how much deposit was put down and on whither it wqas an interest only mortgage or not, plus timeline of mortgage too

Find it difficult tio believe tha he didn't know who he was renting from and why if he wqas so concerned, he didn't flit to a new flat
