Wren Road was indeed used as a bus route- what visionaries from 50 years ago. It is probably still unique in that the lollipop lady at the school was the only one that ever got knocked down there - obviously the extra 4 feet was not sufficient! ;D ;D

It was a great area with lots of nice people when I first went into practice here but now it's a wasteland and it's astonishing that two shops within yards of each other seem to able to deal drugs with impunity.

It is all change again up there after the maisonettes were reduced to rubble and newer housing put in place. Confused about the shops though - Wren Rd only has one shop...

Ah righty ho, Fancy Farm Road was the posh bit...although to be honest i never realised that the shops were locally regarded as drug dealing venues...must have happened after I moved out...

I actually witnessed a wee exchange going on in the Fancy Farm Road one and I immediately reported it to our dear police. Result: bugger all and I'm told the guy still does it.
