I hope Andy enjoys his visit here and dos'nt feel offended when I say I wont be there to hear him as I will be talking to my conscience, which generally keeps me on the straight and narrow, Oh! and costs nothing .

Alpha courses - desperation frae the christians, trying to make it easy to be wan, as Tidds says it costs money too.
They do use similar techniques to cults to make you feel "wanted"

the murdie dam same as thom street dam is a nature reserve but the council own it....our club built the dock at the club house and the council gave permission....
we are allowed to sail on it and use electric boats but IC isnt allowed because of the wildlife we have on the dam....
the good thing about the club being there is if anything happens to swans ducks or any other bird we are usually the first port of call that people come too, we get the birds and take them into the club then contact heaslehead reserve who take them away...

and long may you all remain at the dam, Ican't think of the dam without the boat club, but tell me linda, does that make you all a protected species in this wildlife nature reserve lol. I think you should all be preserved forever .

there is a couple of our members that we think are preserved...they have been there since god knows when....
the boat club is well over 125 yrs old....it was always about yachts of all different sizes but they intregrated electric scale boats to build up the numbers and all the guys build their own...the yachts are all hand built too from the club...
at the moment as i said we cant sail but i just love it over there, the quietness and the wildlife is just a treat....the fresh air is good and helps you sleep...when your sailing, any problems you have just washes away
