We can all use it ?.
I hope Woodhall enjoys this and may the neds show a little respect for others who may use it.
Maybe the neds will learn to respect the enviroment, just thought ,this is all about maybe's, and the only thing for certain is it will be built..............but then maybe not, personally, I don't care as most of the youth of today see distruction as fun.
Pity the weans and pensioners lose out as well as good citizens

true Linda, I wonder what it will take to stop them, maybe inviting them in to help design and make it .
One thing I have noticed is that the young never seem to get a chance to put their ideas forward.
I remember the Larkfield youth club that was just behind Ravenscraig school, on entering this refurbished place , I was all excited in seeing what the young people came up with. Lo and behold I thought I was in the social work dept or at the very least my grannys house.
On enquiring who did the decor, yip the ones that designed social work etc, this is what made me walk out, all the young boys who had formed a football team were asked to get together and pick out a football strip, this they did. The comittee hit the roof when they realised that the boys had picked English team colours and refused them the strips unless they changed them.
I pointed out their constitution and could not believe the onslaught I got, when I tried explaining that this was a place for young people for them to run it and a few people to guide them , and that they were infact instilling hatred, believe me you would have not wanted to be there because,
(a) I dared to question (b) I was a woman (c) I dared to bring up the constitution (d) I made them face the truth
They still work and feed off the community like leeches, all take and no give

when they make anything for the youths why do they not get them especially the ones that you know who will go out and destroy...get them involved and by involvment it might stop them destroying it....

I agree Tiddles, I also know that young folk wont destroy what they have put a lot of work into.
I know the Bristows will ride the back off everyone to prove they do a good job, the worst thing is most people go to them because it is easy to get the grants through them.
I have seen the way it works .

nothing wrong with parklea rod, everyone just thinks that money is not well spent and most certainly we do not get value for money.
It would be great if the money was spent on longterm facilities for the community that would not be vandalised, and before anyone takes the humph, I recently watch a crowd of young ones uproots loads of young trees and shrubs from the new estate at Cartsdyke court, no doubt there parents knew what they were doing.

I agree Rod, it's another attempt at vote catching in the Port. It would suit them better to deal with Parklea and Kelburn. Good to see you Rod, you must be up to your eyes in it, haven't seen you on much.
