What an unmitigated waste of my money. There's NO such thing as a, "sporting hero". People who run, jump, skip or whatever do it for themselves and NOBODY else.
If you want REAL heroes and heroines, look to the Forces, the Ambulance Service, the Fire Service, the Polis and all the good folks who run the little groups in the background getting no credit or praise from anyone.
Sports people do NOT advance the cause of mankind one jot and they are NOT role models, they are attention seekers and endorphin junkies. Will we be told how much this party will cost us?
And whilst he's there amongst all the, 'heroes', why doesn't old Wilson get some advice about losing some of that fat arse of his?
