Who'd have guessed that would happen? Strathclyde Police going out with a bang. More stress for poor Maureen Doyle.

i couldnt believe it when i read that he is out.......what dougnut decided on that.....he went missing for all those years, they get him and now he is out.........for F#s sake

Well Linda, as we know, just because Strathclyde Police say someone is guilty it doesn't necessarily mean that they ARE guilty. No1 son says that there are quite a few people accused of murder out on bail because there are few remand places but even he was shocked about this story. Why was the Sheriff minded to grant bail in the first place? Why has he subsequently been released? We are not talking about a street fight gone wrong, we are talking about the brutal murder of a young girl that has been unsolved for 26 years. It really doesn't add up.
I'll be first in the queue to condemn whoever killed Elaine or was materially involved in her murder. Just at the moment, I smell a big rat.
