They were more or less instant slums built by a speculator. The pasting they took during the war should have sealed their fate but they still remained. There will of course be the, "we wir brought up in Bouverie and it wis great" brigade but they are dreaming. Knock them down and sow the ground with salt. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

The Grenaig wall will come down and light will once again be seen. I knew a wee woman and her man who stayed there just so they could feed the ferel cats.
