Hmmm, Fatty Wilson seems rather defensive on this matter.
He still seemed quite active at the school until very recently despite the absence of his progeny. Sorry Fatty, too many of us saw and heard you at those meetings. I suggest you think again before you open your fat trap. Let us not forget that no matter how good St Columba's is as a school, it is a business and not some altruistic charity even though it has charitable status. And, where you have self-interested business, you find bloated mouths to feed.

Before the debate, chair of the planning board, fellow ward councillor David Wilson, who was criticised by protesters who suggested he should not lead the meeting, made a statement.
He said: "I would like to declare that I have no interest in this plan, financial or otherwise."
Councillor added: "My two children did attend the school but the youngest left 14 years ago."
